Leadership & Scientific Communication
Serving as Co-chair for the 2026 Nebraska Plant Science Symposium has been a highlight of my PhD journey. It provided a unique platform to step into a leadership role, collaborate with an incredible organizing committee, and drive meaningful scientific communication.
Bringing together voices from both academia and the agricultural industry to discuss the future of plant genetics reinforced my passion for not just conducting research, but building the collaborative environments that allow us to share it.
